What we do
DOT physicals
Keep your drivers licensed and on the road with an annual DOT physical. Our examiners are certified and we handle the paperwork.
Drug testing
Done in house, with results in three to five days. For new hires, return to work, random screenings you assign, or after an accident on the job. This is the one occupational health service that is billed separately for member employees.
Pre-employment screenings
Confirm a new hire is a fit for the role before day one. Comprehensive screening identifies health issues that could affect job performance or safety.
Fit-for-duty exams
Verify that an employee can perform their duties safely and effectively. Regular fit-for-work exams reduce the risk of workplace injury.
Return-to-work screening
A surgeon often clears someone to return without knowing the physical demands of the job they are returning to. We screen against the tasks the job description actually requires, so that does not happen.
Health screenings
Routine screening catches problems early. Early detection reduces absenteeism and keeps people working.
If your employees are DPCA members, most of this is already covered.
Pre-employment screenings, fit-for-duty exams, return-to-work screening, health screenings, and DOT physicals are included for employees on a DPCA membership. No separate invoice, no per-exam charge.
Drug testing is the exception and is billed separately.
If your employees are not members, we provide all of these on a per-service basis.

Occupational health at all our clinics
Somebody who needs a DOT physical before a Monday run needs to know when you are open. Every clinic runs Monday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a lunch closure from noon to 1:00 PM, and Friday until noon. Hours matter more on this page than anywhere else on the site.

Occupational Health Coordinator
Crystal has over 20 years in the medical field, certified as a medical assistant since 2001 and working in occupational health since 2005. She holds BAT, DOT, COHC, and NIOSH certifications and joined DPCA in March 2022. She coordinates DPCA's occupational health program and is the person most employer clients deal with directly.

Are occupational health services included for our member employees?
Yes, with one exception. Pre-employment screenings, fit-for-duty exams, return-to-work screenings, health screenings, and DOT physicals are included for employees who are DPCA members. Drug testing is billed separately.
